Celean Camp appointed as FRAME CEO

FRAME has appointed Celean Camp as its first Chief Executive Officer.

Background

Celean Camp has become FRAME’s CEO joining from her previous role of Director from the Association of Child Protection Professionals.

Celean’s previous role saw her having responsibility for delivering the organisation’s strategic plan and services across the UK.

Celean holds an MA Hons in Psychology as well as an MSc in Psychology and has previously worked as Operations Manager and Charity Manager.

Her previous roles saw her working at Accessible Arts and Media and at the Institute for Effective Education respectively.

New role

Celean’s new role will see her have responsibility for FRAME’s overall strategy and operations.

This will include fundraising, education, publicity, allocation of research grants and publication of FRAME’s scientific journal – Alternatives to Laboratory Animals (ATLA).

She will work closely with the FRAME team and Board of Trustees.

On her new role, Celean says:

“I hope to build on this by developing FRAME’s education and outreach work.”

“This is to ensure that future generations of scientists understand the available alternatives to animal testing, and the scientific industry is aware of the benefits of non-animal methods, both in terms of validity and cost.”
